sideways would be fun in the right areas, noplace with other cars (they'll flip out like some coworkers of mine did a few years ago when I slid my car hella sideways coming out of work), no telephone poles, ditches, or raised curbs.
I'd like to get Sophia out on a skid pad so I can really play around and see what she'll do.

unpredictability is a bad thing, on the street or racing. If you get that unexpected snap oversteer, that's when stuff starts going bad in a hurry if you're not on top of it. That's one of the reasons I'm not big on these high hp cars, is because they do stuff like that. A lesser powered, great suspension car won't often, and when you do, you'll be expecting it.

Forest Gump. I love that movie. The scene where they are hiking through the jungle, and come under fire make me tear up every time I see it. When he's carrying his wounded comrades out of there it makes me swell up with pride. I just about lose it when Bubba dies in that scene. I know its just a movie, but it really gets to me.

The trip is coming to an end, one last night. Gonna run out and check out some live music. It has been a blast, but I'll be kinda glad to be home too. Glad I took Monday off too. Next trip will be to England on December 13th to see my friend retire.

My cousin got a medal for doing that, not that he would ever tell the story. When I was little his wife took me into another room to show me the medal and told me the story. He got shot carrying another guy out of harms way.
