When does the dynamat go in? You're gonna need a wooden roller like you find in wallpaper stores. And also be careful, you can cut yourself on it. I got a few cuts and didn't even realize it. So I can say there is truly blood, sweat, and tears in my car, literally.

I might try it next week, but I'm not quite sure yet. I think there's a roller in my garage, but if not I'll have to pick one up, and maybe some gloves too. Consider yourself lucky though. My trunk is only 12-13" up and down. Extreme claustrophobia! I also want to make a trunk lid mat to cover it up with. I have the carpet to do it, but I need to go to menards or something to get the other stuff. What would look best, plain or something on it?

vSomething like this.

I agree with David. Give a running pony a try, what color was your carpet, blue/gray?

It's gray. How would I do a running pony though? And would it look ok with my amp rack? I also was thinking of doing, "NOTCH", "Blue Notch" and "Mustang".

So the notch would be with some kind of white like iron on lettering from craft store? That would probably be alot easier. For the running pony you would have to get like a large piece of felt? in the color you want like black or white or blue trace a running pony pattern on transparency, blow it up to size you need trace onto felt cut and then fasten to new trunk lid liner with some of that spray glue stuff. IDK I'm just pulling this stuff out of my *** here brainstorming.

So I'm thinking of just getting a plain (thinner) license plate frame, and putting the little pony screw covers on instead. But what would look better, black or chrome?

I was thinking more like a chrome finish. I never even thought of using color! Maybe a sonic-like blue? Great, more decisions!

That's what I was trying to figure out. But would chrome look bad with the ponies on the amp rack?

Blue might look good with the paint and the stripe on the amp.

I just looked at it. So whatever happens it is certain that the background is the grey carpet. So with that what would look best. What do you want a symbol or letters? I think a chrome running pony might be too much with the 2 tribar ponyies. So what do you see staring back at you when you open the trunk lid?

Well then I think you should do a blue pony painted with sonic blue. I actually think I would prefer that anyway. Not shiny or blingy like chrome, or too distracting. Remember pony should run towards left.

Where do you get sonic blue paint, and what is it that I paint?

all those frame designers do that idiots it they dream it up looks good lets sell it but in most I ever see it covers tags or what the poilce want to see from outer space, I don't know why they can't design with emblem top sides or have right and left bottom open for tags to show
