I'm saying Lost was an awesome show. So many people don't get it, but I thought it was really well done.

Both my Bullitt and my Cruiser were only half full from the Dealer/factory. Saving 1/2 qt X every car sold adds up I guess.

The manual says any where between the marks is "acceptable" but with all of my others, it was to the top line when changed and filled. I'm still thinking it has something to do with when they changed to the aluminum block and didn't take something into account because I've seen numerous people say that on their iron blocks that they were full to the top line when 6.5 quarts were put in after a change.

That was the first thing that came to mind when I checked it new. However it doesn't explain why its only half way between the marks after I changed it and put exactly what it calls for in it.

Boy I almost got nailed jammin' down the mountain to the doc's Monday. I was late so trying to make up 5-10 mins.
Down the twisties there's one short passing area where the double lines end briefly. I had been making great time but came up behind a ryder truck and a little car following, so they were hangin me up.
So I was watching and waiting for this short passing zone. There's really only time for 1 car and this little car was hangin back from the truck so I was going to have to jam big time. I was at 54ish so it wasn't worth down shifting to 2nd (redlines @65), but 3rd pulls pretty good at 3500 up. So I nail it and jam around both gettin close to that nine oh and then braked before the next curve.
About 5 turns later there's this sheriff sitting tight on the shoulder. I'm right at 70 and thought crap - he's gonna get me. I was on decel because of downhill but I quickly ease on the em brake so he doesn't see me flash the brake lights and dropped to 62 pretty fast. They pretty much let you go between 60-65 but I was nervous about 70.
So... about 5 curves later, sure enough I see flashing lights in the mirror way back. Crap! I start grabbin my wallet and cell to call the doc thinking he was going to pass the cars and truck and come get me.
But about 7 or 8 turns later I don't see anybody in the mirror except the truck. He must have pulled the little car over.
Whew!! Looks like I slipped passed. But I felt bad for the car - here I'm jammin way over 55 when I pass him - and he gets nailed!!
A radar detector may have given me a heads up he was parked and waiting. Guess I'm gonna have to get one of those.
But I made up 5 mins to the doc!

I wish there was a place near work that made some that I like. I guess I'm going to have to wait until Friday night and pick some up from the place where my son used to work. It's like a pit beef place, but theirs is really good. Unfortunately, they only make it on Friday and Saturday. You should bring a cooler on your trip and take some home and freeze it.
