Nice, I should post a few pics my friend took with his when he was in town last can't remember which lens it was. He will be out again in a couple of weeks have to ask him.

Barrett Jackson had a Fake Shelby Eleanor whatever the thing is. 68 body 428 motor. $220k with a fiberglass front end. Clean car but hell no $220k. Half that can have it built professionally.

The biggest bonus to nikons is that they have not changed the the lens mount design so that old film slr lens will work on the newer dslr cameras.
I have a d50 which has an auto focus in the camera body that will power the autofocus on older lens that do not have the motor in the lens itself. Starting with te d40 Nikon removed the focus motor out of the cameras to save weight and space since all thier newer lens have the motors
In them as well (why have two when 95% of users will have the kit lens and no old ones). So that is why the autofocus on the newer d40 and up cameras don't wrk on older lens. Some of your newer higher end pro models however still have the motor in the camera because well the old lens are
Friggin awesome and better than alot of te newer ones.
I personally ponied up or an 18-20vr lens so in totally happy with it for pretty mug anything I wanna do
