Bought a new point and shoot. Seems pretty decent, haven't tried it out yet but the reviews are pretty good (much better than the one that just took its place). 16mp 14x optical zoom.

Sounds nice, Lee. 14x optical zoom is nice too. Mr. Jill bought me a new Sony cybershot point and shoot before we went to Vegas that is 16mp, but I think it is only 5x optical zoom. It does take nice pics though. I haven't checked the video quality yet.

I had an Olympus that I was using for that, but it **** the bed a few weeks ago, and I wanted one with a longer zoom anyway.
