Drove an '08 suburban back when and just didn't care for it.
I buy Fords because I like them and because the more I buy from the dealer the better treatment I get. If I walked into the Chevy dealer they just want to play the stupid new car salesman games.

What's with the procharger bandwagon. Intercooler is not too necessary with low boost. Vortech always made the better blower and Paxton for real numbers.

I like the air to air intercooler over the air to water. Keeps everything less crowded under the hood and with one less cooling system that is a whole set of hoses that I won't have to worry about leaking or water pump failing.

Scfm is all that matters though. Boost pressure builds heat. Under 10 psi should still be fairly cool along with short run duct work. My point is, the intercooler that procharger uses as a selling point is really not necessary. And their blowers and kits are second rate compared to Vortech and Paxton.

Why such a big distaste for the centri's? To be honest all of the high HP 10.5 guys run turbos or centri's not twin screws. In that alone I would say they are proven.
I would love to have an FRPP 500HP Whipple but like I said before. For myself that is just crazy money for what I'm looking for.
If I had it all to do over again I would have purchased an 03-04 Cobra like yours. Back in 07 they were going for the same kind of money that my 07 was going for new. Then in the long run it would have been more fun, and I would already be blown.
