I didn't make a scene, but definitely got teary eyed. It's hard not to when you watch little kids yelling "daddy" and running up to them......so sweet to see. A few of his friends went with us and met him too, so he was surprised to see them.

Considering he's only been 18 for about a month, he's barely a man......but he'll always be my kid!
Seriously though, it's awesome to see how happy he is and how much he loves it. One thing that blew my mind is when he told me a guy at basic in another Company shot himself and committed suicide a couple of weeks ago. He said it happens more often than we think. I just can't imagine it.
