Of course I'm not sure if there is any Victoria plant left. With the changes a few years back they spun off Invista and sold part of the remaining plant to some other company I've never heard of.
We get a lot of customers that work at the plants whether it be Formosa Point Comfort, Dow Seadrift, Seadrift Coke, whatever the BP plant is called now, and DuPont.
And the standard practice for building a house for these guys involves answering all their buddies questions. Because evidently when the coworkers find out they are having a house built, they tell them to do this and that and don't do this and that and it becomes a committee. I just love it so much. everyone is an expert!

Now two of my wife's sisters and their husbands live there in Northshore. All of my wife's family lives in Portland. Hence we don't go there much. or at least I don't.
We do build specs when we have time. Right now too busy with customs. Trying to get a couple of specs started so they will be ready for summer.

They had bought the plant next to DuPont and expanded at the time.

Not trying to take anything away from Patrick but, seeing how proud he is of his son I had to change my avatar to my daughter.
Now while I am cruising TMS I can also look at her too.
Thanks for the idea Patrick.

What is it with people nowadays giving kids these cutesy oddball names? You do realize that they don't stay cute little kids forever right? They grow up at some point. And they take it a step further and use some ****ed up spelling. For example, my nephew just had a new baby. They named him (pronounced) Keaton, but they spell it Keighton. Really? Now hes going to spend the rest of his life correcting teachers, people at job interviews, etc. when they look puzzled and pronounce his name, "kite-tun"???

Normal but not common around here. Lauren is common, and maybe a rare Paige. The only time I hear Blaine is when my sister mentions it since it's her boss's name, and is female, and Zoe, which is her dogs name. The only other time i've heard Bryce is Ron Howards daughter
How do you pronounce Zoe? Do you say it Zo or Zoey?
