really want to build another notch. The cobra is an awesome machine but it just sits in the garage.

Yesterday was pretty awesome. Celebrated my 30th Thanksgiving living on my land, 7th in the new house. Man the amount of life that has gone by! Victories, battles, good times and bad, women come and gone, business struggles, major wins & recognition by peers, defending the dream... casting the dream out farther - esp when all seemed dark but opportunity presented itself... the one constant is having a goal and a dream that you're willing to fight for. This one traces back to when I was 11 on my first camping trip. Started in 79 with one acre, put a house/well/septic/electric in late Oct 81 with a Land Cruiser and a Jensen-Healey/Lotus, a backpack, 2 guitars and an amp. That was about it. Moved in and the snow hit big time. What a learning curve! Made me into a real live mountain man for 30+ years now.
Now my 'family' of 11 horses and a dog enjoy our peaceful solitude together. Some nice cars, nice guitars & tube amps, tools & equipment, and getting to build part of my home, went from 1000' MH to 2800' with a mountain view on 7 adjoining acres. Very pleased with my dream and my tenacity to see it through. Most importantly, being able to enjoy the lifestyle for so many years now. Truly reasons to give thanks!!
Enjoyed a bottle of Asti while cooking and watching football. Simple dinner, baked cornbread, 1# baker in the wood stove - where the skin gets a little crusty for scooping sour cream
, caesar salad, turkey done about 9. Crashed before getting to pie and topping.
So after sleeping in till noon, and finally feeling better after a rough few days, its time for pie and coffee for 'brunch'.
Then comes that turkey sand on sour dough with mayo and pickle relish!

Didn't realize you played guitar. I used to play some. Hope to pick back up on it one day. Grew up in a family of musicians/mechanics. Dad and moms family both play music. Oldest son is playing guitar and piano. I think the little one was just born to terrorize.
