Just got my laptop back running, i had to put a motherboard in it, cost me $230. i was going to buy a new one but this one was top of the line 3 years ago and is still nicer than many at the stores in the $500-$700 range. So to upgrade I was looking at spending close to 1K, and just didn't want to spend the $$.
