The trees were bending a lot before it got dark. Theys till have about 50% of their leaves, so lots of room for snow to pile up on them. i'm surprised we still have power. A few towns that I know of around us don't.

Yeah I know down the road from me at the Ambulance corp they lost power and the FD has been going off all day today. For us its a heavy snow which makes it all the worse with the leaves included. I have to go shovel my driveway again before it all freezes and becomes impossible to do

According to the weather service’s preliminary snow totals, some parts of Amarillo have received almost five inches of snow. Johnson said Amarillo has received the most snow in the region.

I will buy Jack Stands!!!
First day at the drag strip, done. Half deaf and fully amazed. It was one of the coolest experiences of my life, and I get paid! Just need some shoes with real support in them so I can stand for 7 hours and not have to worry about feet hurting at all.
One of the guys even came up, shook my hand and told me how impressed he was with the job I did, especially with it being my first day on the job.
