Some pics from today. Was in a hurry so they're not the best. You can also see the nasty rock chips on the front end. I want to get it repainted, but not sure it would be worth it until I retire it as a DD (which is gonna be years from now). I've thought about the clear bras or whatever they're called, but not sure those would survive the car wash in the winter. Also, I've been looking around some more for somewhere to get it tinted. What do you guys think would look best yet avoid trouble with the cops? I think the main reason I haven't been pulled over ever in my life (fingers crossed!!!) is the fact I don't have tint on my windows. I was thinking either 35% all around or 50% on fronts/35% on rears. (50% is the legal limit) I don't want super dark, but enough to make somewhat of a difference but still keep the cops off my tail.

Getting closer, but it's kind of stuck in the whole pokey politics thing right now. The city is supposed to send out a petition to everyone on the road to see if there is enough interest or whatever. I think the majority of people on the road want it paved, but there's some other people who are being real stinkers about it. Some of them are even asking if they can get extra votes because they own more land. Plus two of the people on the city council (who I regrettably voted for) voted against moving farther with it, but thankfully they were outvoted by two others and the mayor. Now I'm just hoping and praying it gets paved soon! It's super dusty right now, and I'm stuck going down it because the back way through my neighbor's drive to a paved road is still super muddy from this spring.

And thanks! I do too.

The clear bar should hold up. I had one on mine. It was just a cheap ebay $25 version. It went on nice and the edges stayed down no problem. I had rocks hit it and and you could see the little dings in the material where they hit. I took it off before turning the car back in and everything was perfect underneath.

Here's the new wheels. They are 10th anniversary cobra's painted black. They won't be the permanent wheel for the car but I think they look alright on it.

Maybe I'll do some more investigating. Got a quote for tint though. $180 ON SALE.

Looks good! That's from your zaino last summer, right?

I washed my Cruiser last week and the 5 star shine held up great for its first winter. Deep shine, water beads like crazy.

The 3M Clear Mask works great. Car wash, snow & ice freezing on top, no problem!

Been really, really busy lately and haven't had a chance to read and see if I missed anything. So Did I miss anything important in the last few days?

Dennis, make sure you check the OC webcams this weekend. The big car show is happening.. Just about everyone I know will be down there.....except me of course but I am going to the air show at Andrews AFB on Saturday
