It's without a doubt leaking, no need to wash to figure that out. I just for the life of me can't figure where. It appears to be coming from or around my steering gear box, but under my truck that thing is so tucked away, I can't get a good enough view on it or my hand around to find where it's coming from right now

Just went through this on the fox. If its anything like mine there are two rubber hoses that go into the steering box from the power steering pump. One is a high pressure line that goes from teh pump to the box. The other is a lower pressure return line. These get old and the rubber cracks and you get leaks. Hopefully that's the only problem as the hoses are like $10-20 each is all. Also they could leak at the fitting too but that would probably be a slow leak. Mine was on the high pressure side and within 5 miles the power steering tank was empty.

If its the high pressure hose and its near the end like mine it made such a mess I couldn't tell where it was coming from, I just new it was PS fluid.

Check your tank level and look at your hoses. May need replacing. Best access is from underneath the front of the truck. It's very awkward. I jacked the car up high as I could, put jack stands under it, and then sat in front of the steering box and worked a wrench in there as best I could. I had to use an open end wrench 1/4 turn at a time because you can't get a closed or ratcheting end wrench over the lines.

Tank level was just at the bottom of the dipstick, i filled it up a good bit and will keep an eye on it. I don't think it's a high pressure line problem. When I have more time I'll get real serious on it and see if I can take out my fender liner, as it may give me more space to look around. As it stands my pump is really tucked in there...

I was sure hoping he wasn't gonna floor the accelerator with his window open because that would be a mess inside that cab.

You don't turn the steering wheel when the engine is off do you? Cause that will kick fluid out of the reservoir.
Just a thought (I thought I had a hose leaking years ago but I was coasting down the drive and steering with engine off and then figured it out).

I am making sure that the pilots are safe when they fly and also that they have an aircraft to either go pick up the guys on the lines or to help protect the ones on the lines. I am not trying to say he needs to be aviation but it doesnt hurt to think about every option.

Has the recruiter given him a list of jobs he can do with his score??

Ok here is a question for all of you. I just thought up a license plate for my Stang. What do all of y'all think of.............

T8NTDLV
The recruiter glanced at his scores and told him the overall was higher than the average for this area, but he'd have to look at the individual line scores. He just took the ASVAB again last week at school and the Army will make him take it again anyway. This was just the basic meeting, but the recruiter did remind him that it would be best for him to pick a job that he can use when he gets out. It's still early and I'm going to keep trying to talk him out of Infantry.

That's funny. I actually heard that song on my way home from work today and I hardly ever hear it on the radio. Sadly though, it reminds me of my good friend from high school that was killed in a car accident. I know I'm showing my age, but it was a popular song................back in the day

A part of me has died today. After seeing these pictures, I'll never be the same. I'd rather be tied up in a basement with two girls one cup, pain olympics, goatse and tubgirl constantly looping for a month, than see these pictures. I haz a super-size sad.
