Goodnight Mike.

I should go to bed, but I won't.

We are pouring the slab Wednesday. Tomorrow they are drilling the water well.

How deep do y'all usually have to drill a well out there?

Some neat stuff to read mostly with gauges and a digital tach and speedometer.

http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/dtcodes.htm

that's awesome! I'm going to have to try the digital speedo/tach. Watch the mph jump from 0 to 20+ before it can catch up, haha.

I'm going to 100'. There's a somewhat major river within a mile or so and the ground water on this area is typically shallow. The other homes in the area probably have 60-80 ft. wells and have for 30 years. In times of very sever drought they might have a little drop off. There is a ton of water at about 250' but its nasty as hell. Smells of sulfur something awful. There's ways to get the smell out, but it just costs so much I'd rather try my luck with the shallow well first. My parents had a deep well about a mile from where I am. They couldn't do anything with it. They finally just used it to water the yard. The second well they drilled at 100' was so good you could have bottled it and sold it in town. It was almost sweet water.

Of course you know we are about 120' about sea level here and about 15 miles from the closest bay.

Yeah, It more mountainous here. Mine is 300' and its better than any bottled spring water you can buy. There is also a spring that comes straight out of a wall of rock in the ground. The pool where it comes out is about 6x6x3 deep and its ice cold, but its too far from the house to pump and have good pressure. You can dip as fast as you can with a 5 gal bucket and not make the pool drop a bit. **** good water.

Nothing worse than watching your parents grow old and know that soon they'll be gone.

I also have HPS's and yes they do put out quite a bit of dust, especially on the rears.

Whole wheat here

Gary, Car is a beast with those new wheels!

So what is the final floor plan like for the new McMansion your building?

Jill- Never new we had a GFL, what did HB and son think about end result? Bad weekend for sports around here!

Nathan- Love that new band too!
So sorry to see your father not feeling too well, but as they say, we'll be there soon enough.

He's really secretive and private. An acquaintance of mine did some work at his house and snapped a couple of cell phone pics in the garage and they were stacked 2 high on racks over top of each other in various color combos.
Just pure awesomeness

Meeting with the recruiter tonight, so if anyone can come up with any more good questions for me.................I'd appreciate it

Also, looks like the 350 is being traded in today for this. No more diesel for now. Turbo locked up last week, replaced both batteries 2 weeks ago and we aren't doing it any favors by not driving it enough.

The 6.2L should be enough. Way better than the old 5.4.

I hope it's enough! Never had a short bed before. The 6.0 has the super cab with the 8 ft bed. Truck before that one was the 350 with the crew cab, 8 ft bed and the V10 Triton. I absolutely hated trying to park that thing.

I really miss my 250 crew cab short bed.

Someday I hope to get another. In addition to the Raptorof course.

It's a shame not to get the diesel though. 400hp/800tq would be awesome!

But the 6.2 Boss motor will be plenty. It really moves the Raptor around well.

When I met with my recruiter I asked him what possible jobs would be available to me based on the scores from my practice test. Also ask him for a copy of the pe they do during Basic Training so that he can prepare himself so he is not struggling and has an easier time at it. Also they are gonna try and blow sunshine up your behind about it so I would also try and find someone to talk to about the parts that suck lol ... I know my recruiter made the Marines sound like the best and easiest ting ever lol

Wow thats a NICE looking Truck!!!

Yeah I always thought they simply told you what you want to hear.

Like the joke about MLM's... everything sounds so awesome! I'm gonna be rich!! So you write the check and join. Then you wake up the next day and you're in hell. You ask "what about all the stuff that was promised.... ?" And they say, "Oh... that was just the Opportunity Meeting".
