Also tinkered with putting the stock grille with smoked fogs and black pony on, but the fogs didn't match my headlights so it looked stupid with the lights on. So I'm sticking with the Bullitt grille.

Also did something major that changed the cars identity forever.

I need to wash her and then there will be pics at dusk.

I have to say, I'm usually not a fan of turkey as a sandwich meat, but **** their Cajun turkey is good stuff.
I do like Boar's Head deli meats. They never seem to be as dry as some of the others. Haven't tried the Cajun, I don't think anyone here would eat it.

And we eat more honey wheat than white around here. And if you get a chance try a sammich on the new Thomas' Bagel Thins

I make the little lady buy Boar's head. It may be a little pricey but it sure beats eating out too. In the long run you save. The Cajun Turkey is good though I too am not too fond of turkey on a sandwich. But a good old turkey and swiss with mayo is hard to beat.

As far as bread goes...honey wheat FTMFW!!!!

I don't really like white bread anymore. White bread is for kids.

uploading 53 pics to photobucket. 161.9mb. Not sure what my limit is

BTW the car stops on a dime now. Oh crap these brakes stop the car. Amazing. And the tires hold too.

I was on the freeway and was about to exit on a cloverleaf type access road. I waited longer than I ever have to slow down from 90 to make the turn. The car just slowed so quickly with brakes I actually could have waited a little longer to brake before the turn.

I prefer the ability to take the turn at 90 without needing to hit the brakes.

Of course I could do the same in El Diablo, and when the truck doesn't make the turn I say "F*ck it!" and go offoad at 90mph.

So what is the deal with those brake ducts and how do they install? I haven't really looked at what is there on mine but I'm intrigued.

You would ask me that. I really didn't take any pics of the install. I tried to on the iphone but they were too dark.

Basically you mount an aluminum frame in place of the dust shield on teh spindle and the 3" duct mounts to that with a screw type clamp. The tube has slack in it and it zip tied to the sway bar mount and then the radiator support. The inlets mount in the blank areas on either side of teh lower grille. Those inserts pop out and you have to cut the bumper area behind them. If you chose to remove the ducts you could always pop the stock covers back on, thought they would have holes behind them only visible from underneath the back of the front bumper cover. Those inlets screw in from teh back and teh duct mounts to that with another screw clamp. The ducts do not hang down at all and are only visible in the wheel wheel if the wheels are turned outward. But the ducts cool teh back side of teh rotor with fresh air so that on a track you don't get brake fade. Though I'll probably never be on a track.

I was mainly curious how those stock honeycomb panels come out, not the duct work in particular. I looked on SHR (I think) for some but they didn't list anything for the SGT/GT/CS bumper. Not sure I understand how the inlets go back in and stay in place.

The honeycomb panels have 4 little tabs (2 top and 2 bottom) on each piece that snap into place on teh bumper cover. When you remove them its just a smooth blank area that is solid except for the 4 slits from where the tabs go. Both the Shelby and A47 kits require this area to be cut up. The Shelby kit uses small nuts and bolts to hold the inlets in place. You see teh screws on teh face and the backside has the nuts. You have to drill 5 holes through the blank area behind the honeycombs and its the bumper cover basically. That provides the backing to keep the inlets in place. Basically the same for the A47 except the screw in from teh back. You drill 4 holes in the same area and screw through the bumper cover to the inlet to hold them in place. They are both very secure for sure.
