Anybody else like Conecuh Sausage? Can you even get it in your area? Its really good stuff. It good in a lot of different dishes, and by itself on a bun.

Its goooood. I like it fried in a skillet, with pancakes. And grilled, on a bun with sauerkraut and mustard. Its also good in a pasta dish with ziti noodles, marinara, shrimp, and cheeses then baked.

oh the stuff I do for my jobs. I went to stock a walmart, the PITA one, our product is at the back of their freezer, and the a-holes keep about 15 pallets infront of it. I grabbed a 20 ft ladder, climbed up, and walked across the top of a grated shelf about 15 ft in the air. On the other end, I had to climb down, and walk across a pallet of bagged ice. Oh did I mention it's f'n 30 below in there with the fans going wide open, probably 40mph. Ugh, that's when you really realize how out of shape you are, lol

anyway. I think I might finally have my best friend talked into moving home, it'll be nice to see her again. It's been over a year and a half.

Well, my Trailblazer needs brakes. Again. 83,000 miles this will be at least the 4th set, possibly the 5th. I lost count.

I've been using rotors and pads from Advanced Auto Parts and another local chain. Wagner and/or Wearever are the brand names they carry. I need to get away from them since obviously they don't last very long.

Are there any brands you guys can suggest that will last more than 20K miles and be easy on the wallet?

How about Bendix brand or even Summit's house brand?

That sounds more like a deficiency in design of the braking system to me. I've been using Wagner rotors on the Explorers and have gotten good service out of them. Each one is on their second set of Wagners and both can be turned again. One has 150k, the other has 170k.

I'll look them up and see what they are like. I was reading somewhere that some Trailblazer SS people were using Hawk brand. Never heard of them until now.

That's what i've been thinking. I go for service out at the Ford Quick Lane and the mechanic there said they do go quick and to try some good aftermarket ones. I'd rather spend a little more if they last a little longer too.

Did he let you drive it?

Thankfully not dead, just busy. The usual Sunday stuff, laundry, grocery shopping, watching the Ravens beat the Pats (so far...........fingers still crossed!) and making lasagna for dinner

I would think Hawk would be too pricey. They are the aftermarket brand most guys put on their Mustangs.
