Well in that case I'll take it out till I get the amp. Don't wanna hurt it! It's gonna be tough going back now that I've heard it though!

I just want an inexpensive amp, $230 is way to much, that's more than the truck cost! I have no idea what the Ohm rating is, I just know what the front of the sub looks like, and it's in a box. I bought it off my friend for $25.

You can measure it with a volt/ohm meter. Do you have access to one of those? It's very easy. You se the meter to OHM and then touch red to positive speaker terminal and black to negative while the speaker is NOT CONNECTED of course. The meter will read around 2 or 4 or so.

I don't have either of those

I think I'm gonna go with this amp, it's inexpensive, can run 175w rms in 1 channel in a 4ohm load, and is only $50

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dual+-+3...&skuId=7315522

And I just showed my sister how it sounds, and the dome light was dimming a little I think part of that is because it's a bit wonky, but it made me feel good
