Yeah I have it turned off. The screen is on auto and the battery profile is set to "smart" it is supposed to adjust how it uses power to extend battery life. It's just tough with a 4.3" screen .....just sayin, **** I love this screen.

I guess I'm just used to the BB, that phone always gave me 2-3 days of charge no matter how much I used it.

IDK about the DROID but the X uses GPS for just about everything. Even the camera tags photos with the town you are in at the time you take it. If you say search for Stop & Shop in the google browser it pulls up not only the S&S page but the closest store to your location. It's pretty sweet like that.

The Droid marks the location too.

I have the feeling I need a new battery and that would help me out a bit. There is an extended one out for mine, but I never went for it. I'm sure the company that makes it will have one for the X too. I bought 2 batteries on ebay knowing they would be generic. When I got them, they "looked" like genuine Moto batteries. I charged them up and tried to use them. They worked... but only for about an hour. Cheap Chinese knockoffs.

How much battery does that suck? I just have it set to the city I live in. So much stuff I'm still trying to figure out...

What? No pictures? Tornado watches south of here, but it's thundering like mad right now. The kind where it rattles pictures on the wall.

phone central in here today.

I'm so flippin tired, got maybe 20 minutes of sleep last night due to stress from my stupid job, got up at 6 to go to said stupid job, got off work from said stupid job an hour late. Now it's close to 2:30 eastern. 20 minutes sleep + 20 hour day = total exhaustion.

Then things got better, went to Mustang Week, chilled with the BMC crew, went back to the house and we sat around the pool for a while, then went to dinner at Logan's Roadhouse which was awesome, an absolutely needed and fantastic distraction from everything else that's been going wrong lately. Sucks that the week is already over.

I'll put up some pictures and stuff tomorrow sometime.

Left rear brake is scraping really bad. I think my brake pads are gone. How long are they supposed to last? They were just changed about a year and a half ago and it's not like I do a lot of really heavy braking. I was gonna go to my brother's tournament game, but I guess not now unless I want to leave the notch sitting by itself in a parking lot.

Brakes are weird. I had a Blazer that went 60K miles on it's original brakes. The Trailblazer I have now has 79K miles and needs it's 4th set soon.
