My son had that problem when he was looking for a 4x4 F150 when he was stationed on Oahu.
I'm working on getting a quote to fix my peeling clearcoat on my side scoops and hood scoop.....

So, $600 to repaint my hood scoop and side scoops and I asked him to throw in a quote for my rear bumper because it's just really dull and looks terrible too. So another $500 for that
I worry about it really bugging me that I'll notice the repainted pieces every time I look at her......Any of you know for certain if the stock side scoops are stick on or bolt on?

Thanks. I did a quick search on the internet but didn't have time to really look into it. I think my body shop guy believes they bolt on but I didn't think so. I think just the hood scoop bolts on.

Don't worry about it too much. All the plastic parts are painted independently from the body at the factory anyway! They're all prepainted and sitting on a shelf ready to go on to the painted bodies. That's why the plastic parts never match the metal body 100% - they never will, due to the different materials properties.

I never have been able to eat anything in a shell. Crabs, crab legs, lobsters, crawfish, I waste more than I get to eat because I can't get it out of the damned shell. Just no good at it. Too much effort for too little food. Same way with shrimp, I can eat my weight in them, but can't peel them for ****, just tear them all to hell.
Now if someone does it for me, I'll mow that **** down.
