Good to hear Jill. We had flurries today and now there's a chance for strong storms friday night. Gotta love MN! Don't think it will be anywhere near the storms down there though.

It is pretty unusual for this area too. But then again we had two tornadoes touch down in my county the same night NC got hit during the day a couple weeks ago. Nothing of the magnitude of the ones in NC, but still.....

Well we arent going out for search and rescue, concord is taken care of that in the areas tey had destroyed, however, we are covering all of their calls in Oak Grove and Rock Creek, so we just went from a 15sq mi district to about a 55sq mile district. could make for a LONG night. And theres more storms on teh way btw.
I have learned since my last post that a community in concord was destroyed, including my pastors home. Theya re all ok but going to be a rough time.

Im here and alive. It went east of my location thankfully. Its hit neighboring departments so I am about to head out to my department to see what we are doing, most likely im gonna be on search and rescue.
I took this shot off my tv, this was as it was going through tuscaloosa. I didnt get a shot of it while ti was going through bham, as i was out cranking my grandparents generator for them.
The 2nd pic is a shotsomeone sent my ex-wife frmo out in dora. This tornado went just north of my other grandmothers house. my aunt and uncle taht live close by apperently got like 10min of footage of it so i cant wait to see.
btw these are two totally seperate storms.

Got home and saw the news. Yikes!! Sure sorry to learn...
Its amazing no one was killed in St. Louis while so many killed today. All I can say is prayers for our South Eastern neighbors.

I hope all is well with Scott, Lee and Willie down with all the tornado activity down there. We were under a watch all night and still this morning. The National Weather Service actually broke into the weather report this morning to warn about a possible tornado in my area. Scary stuff. I'm at work now, but I hope all is well near home!

Apparently Paul's Teal SVO that was MotM not too long ago was destroyed last night.

Just got a call from a good friend who lost his house & pole barn in GA last nite. Everyone is ok but his car collection is devastated and my teal svo was among them. Cars can be fixed or replaced, people can't be replaced...glad they are ok. Now to prepare to get up there...

I know Willie is up around huntsville I thought. I dont think it had major damage, but parts around did so Idk. Im not sure about Lee sadly.
