Mouse In Airbox
#1
I put my new GT in my garage, a few days later I found the shells left from birdseed, littering the top of the intake manifold. I was not impressed to think of a mouse sitting on top of my new V8, eating, pooting and maybe eating wires or who knows what else.
Lets just say that the mouse did not last long.
Yesterday, I opened up the air filter box. There was about 1 cup of Niger seed shells in the bottom of the air box and all sucked up into the pleats of the air filter. Also, some Kleenex and some fabric. Looked at it and it is a great spot for a mouse, inlet to the bos is level and the airbox makes a nice nest - nice and large - a perfect mouse apartment.

Go to Lowes or Menards, they sell a ultrasonic pest repeller, I gave 15 bucks for one, it emits ultrasonic waves and keeps the varmints out!! I guess the sound hurts their ears and they won't come in.

Old school remedy.. get two sandwich sized ziploc bags, cut several small slits in each, add 6-9 moth ***** to each-seal and place in two corners of the engine compartment-away from heat sources, of course!
