Most unusual Ford or Ford Powered car you have owned?
Even though I have owned some rather unusual editions of Mustangs over the years, and also a Merkur XR4Ti, my 1975 Bricklin with the 351-W engine is my most unusual. All 1975 Bricklins had this Ford engine and the 1974 models had the 360 AMC engine.
My color was called Safety Orange. Here is my car when we lived in FL. The 3rd photo shows the car at a Bricklin event and the 4th is us driving on the beach at Daytona. All in the early 90's.

No Picture but in the early 1980's put together a 1972 Gran Torino Station Wagon, 429 with a 671 GMC blower, Pantera ZF Transaxle with everything behind the seat and the car turned into a 2 door with Ranchero Glass and stretched 20 inches to make everything fit.
Also had a CJ5 with a 351 Cleveland, that was someone elses build but is did run pretty good.
Now if I had the money I spent on all the cars I would be a lot better off

Here's my 1988 Merkur XR4Ti. Bought it new in late 1988 when the Lincoln-Mercury dealership couldn't give it away. They kept lowering the price from it's $20k list all the way down into the high $13k range. I said, "What the hell, I'll take it with an extended warranty." I'm glad I got that warranty as nearly every component of the a/c failed in the hot FL summer heat. All replaced at no charge. Other than that, the car was quite peppy with it's I4 Turbo and a blast to drive We took it on many FL road trips. After 6 years and about 60,000 miles we had to part ways as once again the FL heat took it's toll, this time on the interior plastics. Every piece appeared to be cracking and apparently this German Ford was not built for the high temps. Good memories overall.

Mine was nothing spectacular, but I'll post it anyway.
Back in the late '80's,I had a 1971 or 72 Mercury Capri.2.6 V-6/4 speed stick.Made in West Germany, because back then there was a West and an East Germany.Little European style coupe
That was one of my favorite cars ever, one of those I've always regretted selling
I had duals made for it with side exit pipes, coming out right in front of the rear wheelwells, with resonators, not mufflers.Man did it ever sound sweet, loud, but sweet.I may not have liked that now that I'm old,lol
.
The faster you drove it,the easier it handled and safer it felt.Kinda crazy,I know.I always assumed it was because it was meant for the Autobahn
That was the car I taught myself how to drive a stick with.My brother took me to the sellers house about 45 minutes away, and I managed to drive it home...in a blizzard.I found that to be an easy way to learn to drive a stick.Just dump the clutch and let 'em spin,no worries about stalling it from letting the clutch out too quickly

My cool younger Aunt had a manual Capri and I had many a ride in it. It was a fun ride with lots of good memories.

I also really liked the early 70 model Capri's.. IIRC they were referred to as the "Sexy European"

A funny story I just talked to my aunt about that car and she laughed and said it was always in the shop. She told me the one time that she was driving to pick up her daughter after her work was done and the headlight assembly fell out of the dash and she had no headlights. She somehow held the headlight assembly in her hand which kept the lights on and still had to drive the car which was a manual.

Well I don't think any of my Fords were unusual. Had this list of Ford products over the years...
'67 Mustang S code fastback
'89 Mercury Cougar LS
'97 Expedition XLT 5.4L V8
'99 Expedition XLT 5.4L V8
'14 Roush RS2 Mustang
Loved them all! But nothing rare or unique.
