Hi,
I was wondering about the Manual gearbox, if you see the below link, I thought it was only automatics that have the long silver middle bit like you see in the picture and manuals have just the carpet surrounding the stick? The vin number and body tag does say it's manual but i though i'd double check. thanks for your help.

Well if you look, it seems to have a fabric of sorts around the base of the shift handle. That is a manual style shift lever as well, so I dont think its an automatic car at all.

isnt that just a normal console? and wasnt it available on all cars, regardless of transmission? thats what i always thought. but wither way, that car is a manual, judging by the shifter and clutch pedal.
