Made a road trip to Cali and met the one and only Taco Bill!
I have owned a Mustang since I was 19 and that was over 22 years ago now. I had always brought my car to the mechanic to have it either serviced or modified in any way.
Well I bought a 05 Mustang GT three years ago as I got back into the Mustang scene. I never really thought about working on my own car until I signed up for this forum and learned about Taco Bill's DIY write ups. Since then I have pretty well done everything on my car myself with the help of his write ups of course. It has also empowered me to look into working on my other cars (Ford Escape Hybrid, VW Jetta GLI). It has been challenging but a rewarding experience to do some of the jobs/modifications since I never ever worked on cars until only 3 years ago.
Anyways my wife and I were planning a road trip from Canada to California. So along the way I told my wife I need to meet Taco Bill! So I PM'd him and we met up, had a coffee and talked Mustangs! What a swell guy he is and he even took me for a rip in his car!
Here are some pictures that the paparazzi took while we were down there. Thanks for all your help Bill! It was a pleasure meeting you in person!

It was an awesome trip for me and I am glad I was able to meet up with TacoBill along the way.
Haha, very funny guys.
It was a pleasure meeting you too Peter. I know you have a few more mods to do on your Mustang, and I'm sure your installations will go just fine.
I drop in on POTR once in a while, not too much to post since giving the Mustang to my son.
Glad to see the 'How To's' are still coming in handy.

Thanks I needed that...the last time I saw a photo of your son helping you work on the car, he was just a little guy! Well, I have to go and oil the wheels on my walker....

I think the best picture of his son working on the car with him is the one that showed the

My plans are to install a Saleen Supershaker, hopefully there will be a good sale on them in the off season.
