If Not a Mustang

Tough call. There are a lot of new cars out there that grab my attention. Since I work for a Ford dealer, it would probably be another Ford, although with the passing of the SVT Focus, Ford doesn't really have anything else in my price range that interests me. The Lightning, LS, T-bird, and GT are all a bit out of my price range, non SVT trucks don't interest me in the slightest, and the Taurable.... meh. We'll see how things go with the Lincoln Zephyr and Ford Futur--uh, whatever pep boys allows them to call it. They have the potential to be interesting once they get the new 3.5.
As far as cars that are actually available now, the GTO definitely has my interest, although I'd rather they just call it what it is, a Holden Monaro. The SRT-4 would be a great car if not for the Neon hiding underneath it. I guess I'd probably go with the WRX, though. It's reasonably practical, would kick hiney in the winter, and I could do my Peter Solberg impression whenever I go up to our cabin at the lake 5 miles from the closest paved road.

when u say no mustang, do u mean if it never happened or it was cancelled...either way id go with a 60s cougar or the new dodge magnum or upcoming dodge charger. but the 350Z is nice too.

No Mustangs?
Oh well, being stationed out here in Japan, I get a chance to see alot of different cars that aren't available in the states. One of which is the Skyline. Pretty cool car. Since I wouldn't want to pay the money to ship one back to the states, I'd go with it's apparent U.S. equal. The Infinity G35 coupe. Too bad it doesn't come in a convertible (Sunroof will do). It does have 280 horses, rear wheel drive, and 6-speed manual transmission. If there were no Mustangs. This would be pretty close to the next best thing. Anybody got about $37,000 I can borrow?

I voted for the G35, but as other people are choosing cars not on the list I'd have to say a nice older Fastback, Cobra, or a Pantera......gotta keep it Ford or powered by Ford you guys.....
