Probably no Corvette, because they aren't in the same class/price range (not counting the Cobra).

I chose an RX-8 -- I really liked the new cars and even considered it when I was weighing the 04 Mach/05 GT/ and everything else. In the end, it came down to the fact I am a Mustang man -- that's pretty much all I've ever driven.

So, if no Mustang, it probably would have been an RX-8.

It's funny no F-Bodies are on the list. Was that intentional.
I'd get the 300C hands down if it was supposed to be modern. Or I'd be a 100% truck guy. If we talk Muscle and classic I'd probably live.
It just wouldnt be the same without the mustang.
Since these forums are weighted so heavily towards those interested in the 2005 Mustang, I didn't include any vehicles that have fallen prey to those higher on the food chain. [/b][/quote]
That was great.

I thought through this for a while & came to the conclusion that if there had never been a Mustang the world of cars would collapse because nothing worthy would ever be built and, in crisis, the U.S. government would think smarter and call on China to import more bicycles and we would all be riding them while at the same time saving money because of no gas consumption and there would be no war in the middle east because we would have better, smarter uses for oil. But that's just because I'm a Mustang guy. & yes I know, it's one huge run on sentence. It flows better that way i think...

Deb likes the Boxster, I like the TL. The Boxster wins out 'cause she likes a convertible. Given the fact that money is no object. give me a '69-'70 Cougar Eliminator with the Boss 302 or a '69 Z/28/RS with the dual 4bbl and rear disc options.
No one told me money was no option - can I change my vote?

I wish. I didn't read the list very carefully and found one I wanted more than the one I voted for not even 3 spots away. Go figure.

I definately would have to stick to a Ford. I'm thinking probably, an SVT Lightning, Harley Davidson Edition or possibly Price and Availablity pending, The Shelby Cobra Roadster or the new GT.

All in all i'm a Ford freak, always have been, and I always will be

I sold my Ford Ranger when I bought my 1st Mustang. I would get an extended cab Ranger or an F150 if no mustang was around. Now this forum has me thinking of buying an 05! :bang:

I wonder how many truck people are mustang owners now. I wish I had kept my truck after the last two winters here in Northern VA.

Hrm, none of these new cars do anything for me.

If there's no Mustang, then I can't have my 66 either, so I'd replace it with something like this:

I'd go with a Z4.

But realistically, I end up with an RX-8 or possibly an Infiniti G35 Coupe (more sleeper than the Z)
Or probably an F150...

Truth be told, if I did'nt have Angelina (my '01GT) I'd probably be driving a Toyota Celica GT or GTS. They have a lot of potential when it comes right down to it. One things for sure, I would'nt be driving a Honda.

I went with the STi. Those cars can be made wicked fast for not a whole lot of extra $$. I know, i've been spanked by a 12second one at the track. He was on street tires. They handle great as well!

I would not drive a single other car if we lost all mustangs. I would walk to every place I needed to go. Or I would take a bike. But never would I drive another car.

basicaly I would buy from 3 main companies for all my fullfilments. Its hard to say which one exactly, but I do have many other favorites. The Mustang just makes it a no brainer when choosing what car you want for me.

Ford Motor Company
Daimler Chrysler
GM
