In short, I live in an emissions state, and i have an o/r h pipe, so I went in, they started it up and the first thing they did was rev it. I was thinking I was a goner at that point. But no, they pulled it in ran all the tests, plugged into my computer (I have mils so no codes), checked the gas cap, I passed all that. But here's the kicker, they got down and checked for catalytic converters!!! And there were obviously none.. still passed! Anyways I'm good for a year!

They look for cats. But most of us Texans don't give a ****! So they get passed . 95 and back gets tailpipe tested

 

So it's not a legal pass. :shametexans: lol

 

I have family that does inspections. And we have no emissions testing in my parish. Headlight check and horn. $10 see ya next year.
