Help!!! 1965 Mustang Fastback
Good day,
I am trying to get the full history of my 1965 Mustang Fastback. Where would I be able to trace this with the identification number (5r09c135656) eg. engine capacity etc.
Hope to receive feedback on this matter.
Kind Regards
Cobus Holtzhausen

Should help you decode where the car was made and such as that. Now if you are trying to trace the ownership of the car prior to yourself, insurance or dmv might be the only way, and i am pretty sure that is private info so most likely wont be released.

'65 model
San Jose plant
Fastback
289 2V carb 200HP motor
35656th Mustang built that year.
Excepting that, it's unlikely you'll find much more information, the Rotunda fire took the records out. Unless someone has the original onion skin or stickers... highly unlikely.
And what Scothew said.
Don't worry about it. Enjoy the rarity that is a '65 fastback!
