Got an email from Ford, my 2020 has been built! They say it should be at the dealer next week......Of course we went from sunny and 70's for the last 2 weeks to rainy and 50's next week.......

yep, that is awesome
I have never custom-ordered a car from the factory and been able to watch it progress through manufacturing, that must be fun!

Very nice. The wait is almost over.
Your timing is about like mine. Car will get in just in time to put a few hundred miles on it. Then you can clean it up and put it away for the winter. You will get to look at it stored all winter long, just itching for spring. Congrats and make sure you post pictures!

You really lucked out with having to wait less than a month from the time you placed your order to being delivered next week. Hopefully, you'll have some decent weather to put some miles on her before winter arrives. Meanwhile, congrats and also look forward to seeing some pics when your 2020 arrives

Unlike my last 2 this will be my only car, so no storage....but, I now only work from home, so will just need to wait until the roads are cleared before I can go anywhere...except for rare family events, I probably only put 50 to 75 miles a week on it.

if you will be driving it through winter, here's something to do while you wait for delivery: look for a cheap set of take-off wheels to use for the winter with snow tires, so you can keep your nice new factory wheels nice and new
