I completely agree with you, but hardtops are nowhere near as much fun as convertibles. :D

I had always understood that the coupe advantages were mainly less drag, and stiffer chassis.

Coupes usually weigh less too since they don;t have additional bracing to try to stiffen the chasis due to the loss of the hard top.

That's really a matter of personal preference, as some folks prefer hardtops over convertibles while others prefer verts over hardtops. However, I completely agree with your opinion :grin:
