Fuel Additives? Any worth it?

So, everyone sees all the fuel treatments and additives when they go to their local auto store...my question is: are any of these worth using, and do they do anything? Obviously there is a market for them because there is always an abundance of them, but are they really doing anything for you and if so what kind is best?

Just thinking...let me know your thoughts
Thanks, Michael

I try to use seafoam quarterly. Cleans out any water/trash in the tank.

Techron

Techron was highly recommended when I owned the Corvette. I've had more success using on my Ford Van. It ran smoother and got better gas mileage after adding a large bottle to a full tank.

I just added some to the Mustang.

Yep, Techron Concentrate Plus.

Just bought two Chevron Techron (buy 1 get one free amounted to about $8 or so) at Autozone last Wednesday. I've had excellent experience with this product over many years and in many cars, including a '95 Porsche 911. Once a year is a routine for me in all my cars.
Another monthly type product, and very inexpensive, is HEET (the red bottle, not yellow) which removes any traces of water from the fuel tank. Water is attracted to the ethanol fuel we all buy and over time this water builds up. If your gas gets too low you can suck water right through the fuel system. Using HEET eliminates this risk. I've bought them on sale for about $2 a bottle. Once a month won't break the bank.
If you have sluggish performance and your fuel system needs a serious cleaning, BG44K works wonders. It is used by many mechanics and isn't cheap. $15 - $20 but really does the job if you are having issues. Warning: Don't spill any on the car's paint!
