Front Windshield Tint

Lately I have been thinking on tinting my front windshield. Has anybody already done this? If so, how dark and how is the visibility through the day and night? Not to worried about getting pulled over and I know it's illegal but I honestly think it looks good.

Illegal in every state. On my Lightning I tried 3 different times to tint the windshield without getting pulled over. Every time I went lighter. Never made it more than 3 months without getting pulled over. Every time I got a warning with a 72 hour remove and inspect write up.

50% on the windshield is pretty dark. My plan is to do my windshield 70%, front sides 50%, and the rest 20%. That's with my theoretical 2010+ Glass Roof car that I hope I'll own one day :shame:

I believe where i am they say visibility for the cop must be within 6 feet so in other words if they can see you 6 feet away there gonna write you up

I have a 20% windshield...

Edit:
5% sides and 20% front, this will turn into ANOTHER thread about how un-safe my car is, so anyone that doesn't like it don't bother telling me.

And my last car, drove it from the time I was 16-21 and over 100K miles like this and only a few stops for tint.Attachment 205225

Very much illegal, and I am as far as you can get from someone that has something to hide. I just LOVE how it looks, how cool my car stays in the summer and that I can sit in my car, in the middle of the afternoon with the sun beating down on it and you can't see in, not even a shadow :D

BUT, if I did it all over again I would do 35% like you see on my charger, it was hardly noticeable...but this 20% is a tad dark.

Looks sweet! How was the visibility at night? Hard to see cars?

A tad different then my 35% but VERY easy to drive. I do NOT daily the 5.0 but in the height of the day people ask if "it's still tinted" and night time is a little darker but nothing I would worry about.

Nope, I honestly forget I have it done. I DO see a different when I get in the car with my polarized glasses on, but I have no need to wear them when I am inside the car as the glass is my set of glasses.
