No idea here but is it really off a 2021 model?? If it's true, take it back to the dealership pronto. It has to be under warranty.
I sure hope it's from something else. I would hate to think Ford is building 2021 Mustangs with parts falling off.

Welcome to the forums!
I happen to know exactly what this is. I have a similar one on Awesome. It's a Sto N Sho license front plate bracket/slide/lock. You're missin' the other half. Here's what I *think* is your applicable item:
https://stonsho.com/2018-2021-ford-m...cial-sns135a/#
However, if that's not your Mustang, go here:
https://stonsho.com/2018-2021-ford-m...cial-sns135a/#
And if they don't list your Mustang, call 'em. For example, all the S197s are off the list. But that makes sense, how many of those can they sell today?
As far as it falling off... well, you kind of hope the bolts just came loose and you can reattach the thing.
Hope that helps, and good luck!

Yup, looks like that to me. Also looks like you have been curbing the bottom of your car quite often if it is off the 2021.Here is the attachment currently on the front of my 2014, under the front lip splitter. It is slightly different, but a similar setup. You can see the metal loop that you pull to release a pin holding the license plate slider portion on the car. Last is the removable part that you attach your plate too. It slides into the two tubes on the item in the first photo.
