I have a lot of favorite Mustang GTs, so this was a tough choice for me. I love the current model so much that I bought one; I thought the "new edge" design brought back some of the muscular styling cues. I like the '67-68 models with their large engines, but I had to go with the '64-66 model. I've always wanted a Rangoon Red 1965 GT K-Code Convertible with the Deluxe Interior.

As much as I love the early GT's, the new one is amazing. 300+hp 320lb-ft of torque in a GT 2005

I too had a tough choice. My first motorhead memories involve my dad's 66k code 2plus2 (hey maybe there's a name in there somewhere). But I had to go with the 67-68 because of my uncle's 67 390 GT 4 spd. Still drool every time I see one!

 hmmm hard choice.....it would be between the 67' & 68', the 65' & 66', the 99'-04' and the 05'. It was narowed down to the 67' the 01' and the 05'.

The 05' won.

1968 mainly because of the design, but the '01 BULLITT GT is a better all around car. No doubt that when I do a TD on an '05 my opinion will change.

1965-66,

a high-winding small-block, a nice visual package, among the most collectable Mustangs out there.

Favorite is a 68-1/2 with 428CJ, even though I have a 66 and a 98, and plan on getting an 06... I think I would trade them all for a 68 CJ.

Wow, I'm surprised the '69 gt has only 3 votes. 1969 was my favorite year of the mustang. I guess the gt's before '69 were more prominent
