Exhaust leak?

Hi, I installed a new set of shorty headers on my 07 v6 mustang. Since then I have heard a clanking/ticking sound from the driver side headers. Could this be a exhaust leak or something else?

I don't think so. Exhaust leak symptoms are (1) very loud air-flow sound and (2) slower acceleration. Your issue sounds like the mid-pipe not installed firmly to the driver-side header, IMHO.
