Can a GT500 Really Hang with a R35 GTR and a 911 GT3?


No doubt there is a little driver skill, a little lacking other drivers skills present, but what are your thoughts on this?

From the YouTube video posted, it appears the GT500 not only can hang but also surpass them as well.. That being said, the YouTube video confirmed it, did it not

pretty much any car will hang with any other on pace laps with instructors in the cars; it only depends on how worried the instructors get and when they yell "brakes!"

and I didn't hear that instructor yell "brakes" even once in that video, which tells me they were nowhere near the limit and neither were the other cars

It seems the driver is getting a feel for the course. It's a smart move to get familiar before flooring it. Baby steps before the sprint.

I don't think the GT500 can even come close to the Porsche GT3.
