Almost can't believe my eyes.
It has been several months that I have visited the Camaro5 site since I got removed/terminated/let go for statements I made that pissed them off.
Now after snooping around there I am surprised, more like shocked and dumb founded by treads like 'why are the 5.0's faster'. Not only are they admittedly in agreement the GT is faster, these treads seem to go on whining forever and are numerous. Some quotes that really made me chuckle where...
"I'd rather drive a slower fat car" and "If I had a dollar for every why are 5.0's faster tread, I'd be rich"
To hear them openly admit to it, after I got canned....Priceless!!

Everyone has their reasons for buying a car. Camaro5 is a great forum, but they don't like when people create posts to start disagreements (True or not in some cases).

Too funny. I am always on that forum. Great forum actually and some really great info. I do really like those 2014's ZL1's. Almost got one, but the Roush won out.

I have been a GM guy since 1982 when I bought my first Chevelle and might have bought a new Camaro had it been less $$. They would not come much off sticker. I didn't even bother test driving one because of that. Plus, in my opinion, the 2013 facelift/taillights were such an improvement that the Mustang looks better than ever and better than the Camaro as well.

At any rate I enjoyed the read, nice to see a few "GM guys" can see each car for what it is. The few GM guys I know start and end each sentence with "my camaro" so it's refreshing to see otherwise.

It's hard for them to admit the 5.0 is faster than the SS, despite all the media published information and YouTube videos. I don't think anyone here would try to claim the SS is faster, but eh!

The few that will admit the 5.0 is faster will follow it by saying the camaro was made for the track rather than the drag strip. Of all the choices for a track car.....camaro......

It's a tough pill to swallow for GM guys to think their cars are slower. It was always the other way around the last time the Camaro/Firebird was around. That LS1 engine from 1998 -2002 is still an incredible beast to this day and one of the reasons I still own one. All stock too, no mods.

I only ever liked the 67-68 & 69's
I was bummed out that they stopped using the Mustang in Hawaii 5.0 & went all GM , my highlight was when Dano's camero got blown up. at least nobody was hurt
