50+ HP gain - ( The best Mods ) ?

What does everyone recommend as far as Mods go, to increase the HP on a 99 - 03 Saleen S281 to gain an Extra 50 HP?

I'm wanting to get it to 400+ HP

Thanks to everyone for their insight and input

What I can tell you, is my 2006 GT with Saleen VI supercharger made 435 RWHP on the dyno with just a JDM custom F/I e-mail tune with 3.4" pulley and 39lb. injectors. With a 99-03 Saleen S281, I would look into getting a custom remote datalog tune from Lito, if he tunes 2-4 valve cars? What I know about Lito, is he's one of the best 3 valve tuners and has a solid reputation to back it up. However, if Lito doesn't tune 2-4 valve cars? then I would strongly recommend VMP performance as an alternative, as they do tune the older 99-03 Mustangs as well.

Meanwhile, I've attached a link below from this site to look over in regards to reviews about Lito's reputation and also a link for his website and another for VMP's website. Either way, you can't go wrong with Lito or VMP performance IMHO!

So he's one of the best 3 valves but yet you state he doesn't do them?
OR do you mean he may no longer do them?

I never stated he doesn't tune 3 valves. I clearly stated that he may NOT tune 2 and 4 valve cars, as in 2-4 valve cars which the OP may have in his 99-03 S281. So why in the hell would I ever make a statement about someone as being one of the best 3 valve tuners and then post such a dumb a$$ remark that he doesn't tune them Doesn't make any friggin sense whatsoever. Nor did I ever say that he may no longer tune them. As once again, I was clearly referring to the OP who has a 99-03 S281 that has either a 2 or 4 valve engine, as the 3 valves weren't available until the debut of the S197 models, to begin with.

That being said, you completely misinterpreted the previous post!

No offense meant, it just could have been interpreted that way! And yes you are normally very thorough so I thought that sounded funny.

I believe what may have caused the misinterpretation? was instead of saying 2 and 4 valve cars, I posted 2-4 valve which could had been interpreted as meaning anywhere between 2-4 valve? Anyhow. I'll need to clarify better for future reference

I interpreted it as -2 valve engines, which I thought was weird in the first place, as how can an engine run on less than 0 valves?

/Ok, funtimes over, back to OP's question... which I don't have an answer to, but am looking to see more than tunes, which is fine, but still, bolting things on to break engines is more fun and visceral...

I thought a supercharged 4.6 would already be in that range with no further mods needed, but I guess it depends on the number of valves as the other have mentioned, LOL . . .so I guess i can't really help, hope you get it figured out

You may also want to consider mods, such as upgrading cams, S/C pulley, throttle body, air intake and LT headers. That being said, I'm pretty confident that you can expect to get over 400+RWHP with your 99-03 Saleen S281 blower setup along with a good remote or dyno tune.

m05fastbackGT - going to do some calling around to get price quotes
For the basics, going to go with TSP LTs, flowmaster 40s and an Electric Cut-Outs
