2010 to 2012 wheel swap
New to the forum and had a question on wheel size.
I have a chance to get a set of 2010 GT500 rims/tires. The setup is 255/40/19 Front and 285/35/19 Rear.
I currently own a 2012 GT with the Track Pack. My question is will these 2010’s have any issue clearing the Brembo’s on there?
any info is greatly appreciated!

If they really came off of a 2010 GT500, Brembo brakes came standard equipment on the GT500. I'm not sure if the were still using the band TPMS or not.

They should fit fine. If they are the real Ford SVT GT500 wheels, those are real nice wheels. I have them on my 2010 GT with the Brembo front brakes and upsized rear rotors.
If you are getting them for about $1,000 or less that's a good deal. IIRC I paid $1,200 for mine back around 2014.

thanks for the info. They are in fact originals off of a 2010 Shelby. I agree it’s a good deal. I just want to make sure that there’s no issues as this is my first wheel swap AND it’s about an hour half drive where they’re located.

good point about the TPMS -- I can confirm that TPMS is compatible between 2010 and 2012 cars; I actually have 2012 wheels with 2012 TPMS sensors on my 2010 car and they work fine
however pre-2010 TPMS is not compatible with 2010 and later
