New Forum Layout Feedback Thread
The New Gen was too confusing and unfamiliar and it made me cranky, probably because I'm old and I don't like change just for the sake of change. I'm still prefer a flip phone and Google driving directions so I went back to the old TMS format. I'm still cranky but that might just be the hemorrhoids.

I needed that laugh today Tom. Thanks!

Those of you who don't have hemorrhoids and are switching back to the old layout right away, why don't you give it a longer try and give us some more feedback. How about an hour of going about your regular forum surfing?
Do it for the guy who can't because the hemorrhoids are causing too much crankiness.
Little circular/down arrow next to Thread title will take you to "Go to First New Post" since your last visit
One major complaint about the Next Gen layout,.......when you click on thread,...it brings you to the first page of that thread, even if it has 100 pages in it. I don't want to read the first page again. Is there anyway you can make it so user can pick last page if they wanted to? I spent some time last night on the Next Gen layout, and I honestly don't like it. No offense, just being honest.

Here's one... Where's the "View First Unread" link? I used to click on New Posts ... Open thread ... View First Unread. Now I have to skip to the last post in the thread and compare dates...

The left circled area still has that little arrow which takes you to first unread and that right circled area will still take you to the last post, just like in the old layout.
HA HAAAAAA true Tom. True.
Older than most on some probably. But strong like bull.
LMMFAO
Thank you. That's what I'm talking about.
I'll have to give it another go.

No offense taken, we'd be floored if you thought the new layout was perfect right out of the gate. We mean it when we say we want to hear what you think about the functionality and design. We're taking feedback and running with it.

We made some changes! Most notable is adding some grey to take away from all the white space that was clearly not well-liked, but some bug fixes as well. What do you think?
I'm issuing a challenge to those of you giving Next Gen a try:

There's a prize in it for some of you who provide the best feedback and are willing to jump on a call with us.
Namely, a sweet Amazon gift card. <-------

Honestly, I am getting used to the new layout now. I like it.
One thing I would LOVE to have, and I'm not sure if others feel this way,......but a "LIKE" or "THANKS" button would be killer!
Thanks.
