Beautiful cars Tom!
Have you done the Phase 2 on the S550 yet?

hard to decide if I like it opr not, one thing I DID have to do was lessen the magnification (CTRL -) by one so I guess that is a good thing....but why...0.o are we experimenting on something or preparing for a Zombie Apocolips? isn't the previous style still just as good I mean really it did work fine, I will give this a week and test drive it and see how I like it in 7 days...

I think you'll like it Jim.
Zombie Apocolips.

Haven't been on my computer, on TMS, in weeks, but for all you complaining and asking WHY - take a look at mustang6g.com, which is where most of the current Mustang forum traffic has flocked to. That's why. They need to change to stay relevant. This site looks like it was designed in 2005 because well, it was. Or around there. TMS hasn't changed in appearance much over the years.

Frankly, I don't really care how the forum looks online, as long as the app keeps getting updates and fixes, and there's a long way to go on that front!

;)I like the new one fine......my vision is too bad to see it but I still like it.

Prefer the old format. Not a fan of the new lists. Forum entries are ok, but the original format is just nicer to look at.

ElkGroveFordGuy Apr 2, 2016 10:24 PM

I like the old version better!

Thanks for hitting the nail on the head. It really is about the long-term well-being of the forum. It's also about making the site friendlier to prospective forum members while also making it better for everyone. That's why we welcome all the feedback you can give. Bring it.

Are you using the new Garage Talk app (https://themustangsource.com/forums/...-ios-537430/)? I already use it pretty regularly, but we are working on some updates.

Is there something we could do to make it easier on the eyes? What did the old layout do for you?

laserred38 Apr 5, 2016 03:30 PM

Yeah I use the GT app. It's usable, but has a lot of quirks to work out, namely around pic posting and loading issues (sometimes when you refresh a thread, half a pic shows up and no text, but if you refresh a couple more times it fixes itself).

Yes x2

I like the old style, really glad I could switch it back!

tapd117 Apr 6, 2016 02:42 PM

Don't like the white background and changed back to standard. gg

I'm issuing a challenge to those of you giving Next Gen a try:
  • Make a couple of posts
  • Upload a photo
  • Subscribe to a thread
  • Search for something
  • Whatever else you can think of that you might do on a regular basis
Just try and do some of the things you normally do and give us some specific feedback on what you do and don't like or how we can improve. :feedback:

There's a prize in it for some of you who provide the best feedback and are willing to jump on a call with us.
Namely, a sweet Amazon gift card. <------- :lookatme:

Another thing, if I may? lol
How about getting rid of the white side bars on either side and make the site fit to size on screen? I think many might like that better, including me.
Now, about that Amazon gift card,..................?????? lol

Why still not allowing signature pics?

Evil_Capri Apr 7, 2016 08:09 AM

Never liked signature pictures or large signatures. Been a running theme since the start. I'm sure that may change someday . . . change always happens . .

The only thing I would change is the ability to "mark all forums read" from any page. Perhaps it could be added to one of the drop down menus at the top?

Mark Forums Read is now in the left gear menu:

Let's imagine that I'm looking at the "posts since my last visit" When I get done reading the last message in the list, I'd like to mark all forums read. That means I have to go back to the main page (https://themustangsource.com/forums/), scroll down to the bottom and click

Ah, I gotcha.

Check the top right username menu. That menu will display Mark Forums Read on every screen.
