Squeaky little Mustang just entered my life...

Hey everyone! I'm Ken, a software engineer and DIY guy at heart. The last company I worked for was losing money due to COVID related issues and I was let go. My boss was lending me his Mustang convertible, but felt so bad about the way our time ended together he threw in the car as severance....sooo now I have a Mustang... and all the little problems it brings. I look forward to learning so much from you all, and contributing where I can. I'm no stranger to working on cars; this driveway has hosted some motor swaps, and has seen some crazy stuff too. Lol. Glad to be here, and see what this little Pony can do.

WOW! That's sure one heck of a severance package, as your now ex-boss seems like a really stand up person. Hopefully when the software market fully recovers from the pandemic, you'll not only get your job back, but also get to keep the Mustang as well lol.. Meanwhile, welcome aboard and also thanks for sharing an image of your awesome Mustang, as she's absolutely very stunning

Well thank you much! I'm building a list of things to fix on this squeaky old thing. Looks like I've got a lot of learning to do between having my first Stang, and it being my first convertible... Thanks for the warm welcome!

Thanks! I'm excited to get her running like new!

...and I'm already back in the workforce. It's hard not to find a job around here in the IT industry. Haha.

Thanks... not even sure where these noises are coming from, lol. Maybe a carrier bearing or something. I'll have to start investigating the other sections in the forum today. Marketplace for sure... I've got a quarter window regulator thats broken, and I've definitely gotta see what popular problems you all have experienced as Mustang owners.
