Newbie looking into a 2000 Musty

Hey Guys.
I don’t have a Mustang yet, but hopefully soon! I have always been a lover of the Ford Mustang even since I was little, I have a whole wall of pictures of them from 1964 ½ to 2012!
I have found one that I am very interested in getting...
It's a 2000 Mustang V6. Red with Black racing stripes, it’s a nice car. I just want your opinions on if this one is worth it.
I found it at a Dealership in Toronto. They want $4777.00 for it, with 148000 km on it. The only scratches it has is about 4 noticeable ones on the Front right side of bumper. On the right passenger door, in the very bottom corner The inside is a bit dirty too (I can fix that easy). It also has the front hood clips but with no wires or pins. Other then that the Extiror is Great. BUT lastly the engine sounds like it’s running a bit rough (any ideas as to what that could be?)

Is it worth it guys?:dunno:

I would be a bit concerned about a Dealership Selling a Dirty, Rough Running Car. Sop is to display a car in the best circumstances. Seems odd to me. Unless it just rolled in as a trade in.

It would not hurt to take some pics and post. And I do mean Inside and out and under the hood. You would likely get some better feedback on your proposed purchase.

Wow.... you can get a gt for that price with less than 100k miles on it where I live. Honesty, don't do it. To many miles.

Welcome to the site, and I hope we can be helpful. IMO that is way too much for a 13 yr old v6. Get a carfax, but I would seriously consider looking further, check out Craigslist, just for comparison, you will find a lot more out there with better kilo's and a v8.

That's funny. Maybe I should actually read the description, but it was too long!

Those are known to have stopped up cats. My daughter in law has a 2002 w/145000 miles that I just got fixed (3 out of 4 cats clogged up).
