Welcome,

A Cold Air & Tune is The Best Bang for The Buck For Your Stang in My Opinion. Some After Axle Exhaust Will Sound Better But is Not a Big Hp Increase! So Make a Game Plan & Set Your Goal Before Starting. I'm in California So I Had To Be Mindful of California Emission Laws & Took The Direct Route on My GT With a Roushcharger to Get 427 Horsepower. Anyhoo That was Shortlived as I Soon Traded for a Gt-500.

Don't Know Your Location So Be Sure You Do Not Have any Emission Laws To Comply With Before Starting Your Mods!

Plenty of Info in Our Mods Sections To Check Out. Anyhoo That is My Opinion!

Would Love To Have More Details on Your New Vert & Some Pics as Well! Btw, Most of Our Active Posters are Old Guys!

Welcome and Congrats! on the new (to you) GT! Great to find a car like these with low mileage, and hopefully a body & interior to match... Love hear your story and to see your car's photos when you can.

Personally, I would start out with upgrading your suspension first, by investing in some rear lower control arms which will help reduce the amount of wheel hop produced by the solid rear axle...
Also consider a set of lowering springs and possibly upgrading the stock dampers as well which will improve the overall handling/steering, especially when cornering around the twisties at spirited speeds...
In my honest opinion, I would start there prior to adding performance mods to your Mustang...

In the meantime, welcome aboard...
