Hey everyone I am proud new owner of a 2013 stang ruby red GT prem. We are getting stripes put on it and we are trying to decide which of these stripes we want to go with. Thinking 10" or 12" with a 1 1/4 gap.

I used photoshop and the car customizer to make these rude picture options. Since you always have to think resale value any you hate or any you really love.

 

Not sure how big to make the pin stripes on the outside. Any suggetions? We are going to have "Mustang GT" put on the side. The color I think will depend on which stripes we go for. My DW really just likes the black stripe but I just don't think it stands out much. The dealer is paying for the striping. I have no idea how much that will be. He did not put any limits on what we could do here. I really like the off white stripes with the black outline. I don't want to go too crazy. I want it to stand out more, hence the stripes on top and on the sides but i don't want gaudy if that makes sense.

Thought you guys might have some good suggestions of what to do or not do here. Feel free to just drop an opinon, help me with a link to striping you think looks nice on this color or even from experience of doing this sort of thing. I'm all ears.

 

I had 10" gloss black stripes put on my ruby red a week or so after I got it.

edit: they don't offer ruby red in 2013, only 2014. So you probably have red candy, or a 2014.

 

Ruby Red is such a fantastic color that I don't want to cover any part of mine.

 

I'm liking the silver with black outline.
