Yeah. It is a bit of a bummer. Another lesson learned, which is: Do your research!!! Which I did not. That aside, I really like this car.

I think if you had never heard of the "red key" you wouldn't miss it and it wouldn't bother you. I guess it's just something that you thought you were getting, but didn't, which is disappointing. Aftermarket tunes are probably better anyway, even though you decided not to go that route.

I still think you should get that car out on a road track sometime! It's a blast, in case you haven't already done it. And doesn't need to be a big deal; there are organizations like SCCA that make it fairly easy.

Yes, had I realized the red key had not been activated I wouldn't have bought this car. But you are right. This car is amazing without the track key tune. It's just that it burns me I don't have access to the red key technology....but I'll live. Thanks, John
