New member 13 PW Boss 302

Hello
I previously had a 16 GT350 put about 30k miles for about 2 years but ended up trading it for a focus ST. It may sound weird but the ST was more fun to drive. The Boss IMHO sits perfectly in between.
I'm from Southern CA and I took delivery of a used 13 Boss 302 on Nov 4 2025.
1. Purchased in WA with 25700 miles for $34k.
2. Bought the extended warranty for peace of mind
3. It doesn't have the red key
4. The previous owner removed the side pipes and it currently has a 10 year flowmaster but I'm not sure which model
5. Previous owner upgraded back brakes with Willwoods, front is still oem brembo

Currently
1. Installed Variant NYSA gloss bronze rims 19*8.5 19*10 and used the OEM tires
2. Lowered on FP springs .5 and 1.2 with Whiteline panhard bar
3. Installed catback Flowmaster outlaw. Yes, it will be loud
3. Sidemarkers replace with smoked

Future
1. Wrap the roof, A pillars, mirrors
2. Replace the 2 hood heat extractor with ones from Summit Racing

2. Front, side, and rear splitters
3. Wicker bill or GT 500 decklid
4. Rear louvers and Eleanor side louvers
5. Replace Decklid panel and 3rd brake light
6. Upgrade Flywheel
7. Replace Control arms, shocks, bushings etc

I will not be touching the engine
This car will be driven every weekend, my old man fun car

Looking forward to everyone's knowledge
Al

Welcome,

Beautiful Car!

KC

Since You Mentioned a Flywheel Repalcement If You Were Unaware Here is Some Info To Keep in Mind! The Crank Relearn is Real Important as Some Have Found!

,
  • Crankshaft Position (CKP) Relearn: You must perform a "Crank Relearn" using a scan tool (such as an SCT tuner or Ford IDS) if the flywheel was removed or the engine-to-transmission alignment changed. This ensures the PCM accurately monitors for misfires.
  • Self-Adjusting Pressure Plate: If you are reinstalling a used self-adjusting pressure plate (SAC), it must be reset using a hydraulic press or specialized tool before it can be re-clamped to the flywheel.
  • Hydraulic System Bleeding: While not a electronic reset, the hydraulic clutch system must be bled to remove air and "reset" pedal pressure. This can be done via gravity bleeding or by pumping the pedal until firm.
  • KAM (Keep Alive Memory) Reset: It is recommended to clear the KAM by disconnecting the battery for 15+ minutes or using a scan tool to allow the PCM to relearn idle and engine load parameters with the new clutch assembly.
