Kansas City Newbie
Hey everyone, just signed up and had to put this out there. I've got a 66 convertible that's been in my family for the better part of 3 decades. Long story short, pops moved and didn't want to take the car so lo and behold here I am. Can't wait to get into it and do a little updating but glad to be a part of the community!

Welcome! Love cars with a family history. Wish we still had our '65. Bought it at 15, drove thru 2nd year of college. My sister had it 5 yrs, the baby brother another 5. Paid $700, sold it for $2400. Only did a valve job at 85k, cancer repair and paint 2 yrs after I bought it. Needed going thru at the end, nobody had the disposable income to do it. Had to let it go. Great memories! Now 35 years later wifey and I have a Boss. Makes up for the loss a bit.
Enjoy your '66. Can't put a price on your memories.
