After 2 years of trading my 2011 5.0 on a Challenger RT I am happy to be back with a 2014 5.0 premium. 2 years ago I made a big mistake buying a comfortable but a slow RT with less HP and lots of weight. God it feels good to be back home with the Mustang Family...Never again will I make that mistake! Now let the Mods begin.....

Nice! I think an Axle-Back Exhaust would be my first mod. For the price and the labor involved (Typically an hour or less depending on where/how you're installing) it's a win-win! We have a really solid selection of mild to wild systems here and I'm pretty partial to the Roush Axle Back because it's quiet when you want it, but if you stomp on it everybody's going to hear!

The Challenger was a nice car but I was always enjoyed the Mustang and the raw power it has. The Challenger had power but not nearly as much as the 5.0 even with the Hemi engine. Another dislike I had with the Challenger is that I was under the belief it had a LSD rear, but no, it had an open end rear. My fault for not exploring the details but I assumed (bad word) it is common for all performance cars to have the LSD. The Hemi is subjected to heat soak and would fall on its face when it was above 75 degrees. Besides these obstacles the car was loaded and rode nice. I did receive plenty of complements on it but I needed to go back to my roots. Tint and Roush Axle Back are on my first to do list then I will do the Boss intake as I did with the 2011 I once owned. This set up enabled me to net 432 rwhp and 391 foot pounds of torque.

Welcome back from the dark side...
You will love the Roush exhaust. Sounds like a muscle car should! Love mine.

Really appreciate the detailed info.
Thanks again & have a good day!

Yes, dyno tuned at High Horsepower in Smyrna DE. Great people, one half is Ford and the other is Mopar. 432.50hp and 381 rw torque. I did make a mistake, it was not 391 as I mentioned earlier. I tried to upload the dyno sheet but having a little trouble doing so.
