hi all!!!!
thought id say Hello to you all.....im a newby from wales UK and have been checking out this site for advice on my next purchase!ive seen a stunning 2009 4.6 gt which i am very interested in, however, can anyone offer advice as to weather this would be a good family car??i want something with these stunning looks, and the power it can offer, but i prefer to cruise than to race!!fuel cost is not an issue.....also how do these cars handle in wet weather?we get a lot of rain here all year through!as im used to the more conventional car (seat, bmw, ect), is there anything i will not be able to handle on this car?the mustang ive seen is priced at £7,995 and looks in very good condition but im unsure of the average selling price so any advice would be gratefully received!
thanks for your time everyone!hope to speak soon and hopefully post some pics of my new toy!!

A 2009 GT here would go for ~$20,000 here in excellent condition. £7995 ($12,500) sounds like a very good price to me especially if the car is in good condition. I would think Mustangs would bring a higher price due to scarcity.
As far as a family car, it is difficult getting in and out of the back seats being a 2 door. But I'd bet your kids will love riding in it.
If gas mileage is no concern then kudos to you. I lived over there in the 80's and it was expensive back then during $30 oil

Hi Im in Cornwall. That price sounds to good to be true!
The cheapest 2005 gt's over here are going for around £10000.
Most are asking up to £15000 or more for early s197s!
I bought my 2006 last year for £11500 which was the cheapest
I had seen at the time, let alone a 2009 for that price! Be very careful!
Make sure the light conversion is done right or ul have problems!
Have you got any pics of it?

Welcome to the states!!
tough as a family car, if it's your only car, but who cares. You'll be the coolest dad in town!! I'm also new to the forum and looking forward to networking with all the mustang fans.
